Our pillows need a make over! So we had our hands on our mum's beloved sewing machine and spent a few hours making new pillow cases! Sewing is definitely fun and we can't wait for any new sewing projects in the future :)

It's a lovely bright Sunday today and our tummies are craving for chocolate treats! So we whipped out a simple dessert: Bite-size Nutella Cake.

For the past weeks, I have been teaching my children on the animal kingdom; farm animals, zoo animals and pets while I will be covering creepy crawlies and underwater animals next. The children have had a great time learning about animals, especially reading books about animal facts or animal stories. For this term's Art & Craft project, I was inspired by LearnCreateLove's craft projects and decided to try some of them with my children!

Hello everyone! I guess we've been on hiatus for quite a long time but we are back here again! With this post, I'd like to share what I've been doing to my kindergarten classroom for the past few weeks. The theme for the previous term was on Transportation so I had the opportunity to doll up my Dramatic Play Centre for the children (:

With some DIY cardboard wheels and a painted picture of the front of a bus, I converted the old dressing rack into a bus!
I also added in a card-tapping machine at the side of the bus. Basically the children had to tap their entry tags onto the machine for an entry into the bus. We do have that in the real buses in Singapore! And a tiny door-stopping button (:
















I had an enjoyable time putting up the decorations for my Dramatic Play Centre and I am even more looking forward to dolling it up for next term's theme: Animals!
